My work in Professor Robert White's Sensors Lab
I currently work in Professor Robert White's Sensors Lab. More information about the lab can be found at https://sites.tufts.edu/senselab/
This slideshow contains a summary of my work in the Sensors Lab during the Summer of 2023. During this time I learned:
Arduino and C code
Raspberry Pi and connecting to it via SSH
How to wire voltage dividers and various sensors together via I2C
Research and develop hardware and software for sensor systems
General manufacturing skills
A photo of the Sonic Anemometer on the NASA Balloon
Unfortunately, much of our data during this flight was lost while in the air. We believed it was due to a loose connection during set up and I cross referenced our data to Dr. Jake Anderson's GEM Logger Data from Boise State University. This required learning how to read the files, organize the data, and generate charts to display the information. What we found was that the GEM Logger also had a gap in its data, indicating a loose connection throughout the power chain.
