In this project I made a model of LEGO Han Solo stuck in carbonite with pewter. The process was as follows:
I first 3D printed a model of LEGO Han Solo
I then used the PLA model to create a sand mold
Finally I used the mold to cast the pewter.
I was inspired to make this project after casting an Elephant Silhouette in my Materials and Manufacturing class
